About the team
Own EMEA customer advocacy, community activation, and customer awards to build credibility, trust, and pipeline across priority markets. This role turns customer proof into scalable programmes across events, campaigns, sales plays, and digital channels, with clear governance and measurable outcomes.
Location: India (working UK hours, approximately 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST)
Life at Proofpoint as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager, EMEA
- Customer advocacy engine: Identify and recruit customer champions, manage permissions, and build a steady pipeline of advocacy assets: stories, quotes, videos, speaking abstracts, and reference support.
- Customer community and activation: Run a virtual customer community that can be activated for sales events, ABM roundtables, and peer engagement to build or accelerate pipeline. Build repeatable customer touchpoints that activate upsell and cross-sell motions through community programmes, roundtables, and sales plays.
- Peer validation and review programmes: Activate proof and peer validation in-region to support demand and expansion, including Gartner Peer Insights and peer review programmes tied to key campaigns and customer moments.
- Customer awards programme: Own the Customer Awards programme end to end: brief the microsite, manage nominations, coordinate judging, handle winner communications, and deliver amplification packages to customers and employees. Runs on an April to March cycle each year.
- Content creation: Create customer testimonials, case studies, quote cards, and video clips from events and award winners. Support development of higher-value white papers, reference-based reports, and campaign proof points, working closely with customers, sales, and product marketing.
- AI-enabled content workflows: Use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, repurposing, and performance optimisation while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand voice.
- Impact reporting: Track outputs and outcomes including advocacy asset pipeline, community engagement, peer review volumes, award participation, and contribution to meetings and pipeline influence where measurable.
What you bring
- 6 to 8+ years in B2B marketing, customer marketing, advocacy, or integrated programmes in enterprise technology.
- Proven experience building and managing customer advocacy programmes and communities at scale.
- Strong content creation and editorial discipline across long-form and short-form formats, including case studies and testimonials.
- Confident working with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders, with high judgement and strong governance.
- Experience running awards programmes and managing end-to-end programme logistics.
- AI fluency for content creation workflows and optimisation.
- Highly organised operator who can run multiple workstreams without creating complexity.
