Key Responsibilities
Cost Planning & Estimation
- Prepare feasibility cost estimates, detailed cost plans, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Conduct quantity take-offs from design drawings at different project stages
- Support cost planning for occupier and investor-led projects
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in cost data and estimates
Project Delivery & Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver projects from inception to completion
- Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design and cost-related queries
- Support project execution with timely inputs and coordination
- Contribute to bid preparation and tendering activities
Risk Management & Analysis
- Identify and assess cost and design-related risks
- Recommend mitigation strategies and cost optimization opportunities
- Ensure alignment with construction methodologies and project requirements
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide cost advice and guidance to multidisciplinary teams
- Support client reporting with clear and structured insights
Technical & Process Excellence
- Apply knowledge of construction standards and international codes (MasterFormat, NRM, POMI, CESMM)
- Use tools like MS Office and CostX for cost management and reporting
- Maintain high-quality documentation, reports, and proposals
Team Collaboration & Development
- Collaborate within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to team growth and capability building
