Job Summary

The Senior Corporate Benefit Analyst facilitates the management of self-insured, fully funded, as well as voluntary benefit offerings. The Senior Analyst will be the primary contact for the administration and primarily responsible for leading root cause analysis of errors and issues pertaining to TriNet benefits. Working independently with technology teams, this role will ensure integrations are functional as required, test the integrations, and determine root cause of errors and align to correct the issues. The Senior Analyst will independently assess any escalated requests by analysing data and conducting necessary research to perform root cause analysis and provide resolution and recommendations to the Executive Director as needed.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for the administration of TriNet's benefit programs including, but not limited to, health and welfare plans, retirement plans, voluntary benefit programs, wellness programs, and discount programs,
  • Responsible for administering the full suite of benefits for our U.S and India employees, including supporting annual open enrollment (communications and presentations) including India Benefits administration, Insurance renewals and administration, TPA and Insurer coordination.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant plan operations for the 401(k) Plan and other benefit programs, including payroll processing
  • Handle employee queries related to benefits via ticketing system. Timely resolution within defined SLAs. Analyse queries trends to identify gaps & accordingly improvise.
  • Work with technology teams to ensure all HCM integrations are functional, help with testing and determine root cause of error, and work to correct them whether for demographic file or major integration of benefits to payroll
  • Compliance & governance – Ensure US benefits regulations are followed, and benefit deductions remain accurate all year. Conduct benefits case analyses, audits and evaluate escalated errors. Support with internal & external audits
  • Play a key role in the maintaining the employee benefit and wellness intranet site including wellness calendars and building the budgets
  • Vendor management : Manger relationships with benefit vendors, brokers across India & US. Support renewal processes, benchmarking & cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Stay current in the benefits industry by reviewing programs and trends, changes in legislation/regulation, and/or advancements in technology to make recommendations for changes and improvements
  • Find opportunities and initiate collaboration with the payroll, finance teams and other key stakeholders for payroll reporting, payments, deductions, invoice processing, and reconciliations
  • Provide input and review of accuracy on training materials when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related area; or equivalent work experience preferred

Work Experience


  • Typically 5+ years experience in benefits administration

Licenses and Certifications


  • Certified Benefits Professional (CPB) preferred

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; Oracle HCM experience a plus.
