Senior Content Copywriter

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Writing

• Conduct deep research into devotional, mythological, and spiritual topics to create rich, well-structured, original content.
• Write and translate high-quality content for diverse formats: eBooks, infographics, quizzes, blog articles, web copy, and social media.
• Identify trending topics, keyword gaps, and content opportunities relevant to Indian and global devotional users.

Content Strategy & Management

• Develop and maintain a seasonal editorial calendar in collaboration with the editorial team.
• Set and enforce high-quality benchmarks for all content published.
• Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, culturally sensitive, and aligned with brand voice.

Editorial Oversight

• Commission, review, and approve articles from in-house and freelance writers.
• Edit, rewrite, and polish content submissions for coherence, tone, and freshness.
• Manage and maintain a consistent voice across all platformswebsite, blog, marketing copy, etc.

Collaboration & Team Building

• Work cross-functionally with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure content enhances overall brand goals.
• Oversee artwork and design coordination for visual content such as infographics or web stories.
• Contribute to building and scaling a high-performance content team with process-oriented workflows.

Requirements:

• Excellent writing and editing skills in English (grammar, structure, clarity).
• Proven experience in content strategy, editorial planning, and copywriting.
• Strong interest in or exposure to Indian devotional, spiritual, or mythological themes.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword planning tools.
• Comfortable with data analysis and drawing insights to guide content planning.
• Experience leading editorial teams or managing freelance writers is a plus.
• Highly accountable, self-driven, and excited to build at scale.
• Tech-savvy and process-oriented with an affinity for tools that boost productivity.
