Designation: Senior Consultant
Summary:
The Senior Consultant for SAP MM (Materials Management) will play a pivotal role in implementing and supporting SAP MM solutions for clients. This position will involve working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, configure SAP MM, and ensure the successful integration of SAP with various business processes. The consultant will also provide subject matter expertise on the SAP MM module and guide junior consultants to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in SAP MM implementation, strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain management processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- SAP MM Implementation & Support:
- Lead the implementation and support of SAP MM solutions for clients, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Configure SAP MM module based on client requirements and business processes.
- Provide expert guidance on the integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules like SAP SD, SAP WM, etc.
- Business Requirement Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Work closely with the client's functional and technical teams to design and configure solutions that optimize business processes.
- Customization & Configuration:
- Design, configure, and test SAP MM solutions to meet the needs of the business.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments, including reports, interfaces, and data migration.
- Training & Support:
- Provide training to end-users and business teams on the SAP MM functionality and processes.
- Offer ongoing support to resolve issues, perform troubleshooting, and address change requests.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage SAP MM projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Track project progress, coordinate with various teams, and escalate issues to management as necessary.
- Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing:
- Mentor junior consultants and team members, helping them develop skills and expertise in SAP MM.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and help maintain best practices within the team.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP trends, innovations, and industry practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must-Have Skills:
- Extensive experience with SAP MM module, including configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and vendor management.
- Experience with integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (SAP SD, SAP WM, etc.).
- Knowledge of SAP implementation methodology and project lifecycle.
- Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and latest SAP technologies.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori for user experience (UX) enhancements.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
Additional Information:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in SAP MM configuration and implementation.
- Location: This position is based in Delhi CEC.
