Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in end-to-end finance operations to join our team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities, including General Ledger accounting, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Handling overall operations related to Procurement to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C).
  • Managing the execution team and preparing reports as required by CFO.
  • Preparation and monitoring of the Cash Flow Statement and its related tasks.
  • Expense reporting: analyze weekly expenses and report on variances.
  • Checking and Posting of the Ledger entries as required for week-end close.
  • Monthly preparation of financial statement for review.
  • Performing Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and scrutinize & reconcile the key accounts (e.g., inventory, fixed assets).
  • Vendor and client account reviews: analyze AP and AR aging reports.
  • Preparation of tax reports & tax returns (BAS - Business Activity Statements).
  • Assist in month-end close: support the finance team in closing accounts.
  • Preparation of Management reports for the group company.
  • Analysis on the actual vs budget figures and providing with the variance commentary from Actual to Budgets and Current month to previous year same month.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting / Finance (MBA / PGDB).
  • CA-Inter (drop-outs) or Semi-qualified CA.
  • CMA qualified candidates preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally supporting SMEs.

• Experience with International Accounting Standards and tax regulations will be an edge.

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and reconciliations.

Key Skills

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with international teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
