Must Have Skills
8+ years of Software Engineering experience with 35+ years in Cloud Engineering.
Expertise in Linux, security, networking, containerization, and cloud design patterns.
Expertise in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform to automate provisioning and deployment processes.
Extensive experience with AWS IAM, EC2, Lambda, EKS, ECS, networking, security, CI/CD, and configuration management tools.
Deep understanding of container orchestration fundamentals and architecture.
Experience with at least one scripting language such as Shell or Python.
Expertise in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including configuring IAM policies, VPC settings, encryption, and monitoring solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, application architects, and engineering managers to design and implement solutions and align on design decisions.
Ability to guide the team through solving complex infrastructure challenges.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail.
Experience with observability solutions.
Nice to Have Skills
Knowledge and working experience in implementing one or more observability platforms such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, etc., to measure telemetry data like logs, metrics, and traces.
Experience with Big Data platforms such as AWS EMR, Databricks, Cloudera, or Hortonworks.
