We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Charge Nurse to lead our dynamic team in Bignold Ward, Caithness General Hospital. This 21 bed post-acute and rehabilitation ward provides care for patients with complex needs, including stroke, neurological conditions, orthopaedics, and elderly care.
As Senior Charge Nurse, You Will
- Provide clinical leadership and ensure high standards of patient-centred care.
- Manage staffing and budgets in line with NHS Highland policies.
- Support staff development and foster a positive team culture.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration.
- Proven leadership experience in an acute or rehabilitation setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience in complex care (stroke, orthopaedics, elderly care).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience in Complex Care
This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours per week to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
