Position: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Mumbai

AMC sales job involves selling Annual Maintenance Contracts for various products or services (e.g., IT hardware)

Key responsibilities typically include identifying client needs, promoting services, meeting sales targets, and managing customer relationships through activities like presentations, follow-ups, and ensuring client satisfaction and contract renewals.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Selling and renewing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for products such as IT hardware,
  • Identifying potential clients and new business opportunities in Enterprise Accounts.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Client Management:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Following up with clients for timely contract renewals and payment collection.

Market & Operations:

  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay informed and competitive.
  • Tracking warranty expiries and AMC renewal dates to proactively generate proposals.
  • Coordinating with internal teams, service, to facilitate sales and ensure smooth operations.
  • Preparing sales reports and tracking key metrics.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interactions and presentations.

Sales & Negotiation Skills:

Proven ability to present products, negotiate rates, and convert proposals into orders.

Technical/Product Knowledge:

Depending on the industry, knowledge of IT systems.

Relationship Management:

The ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.

Analytical Skills:

The capacity to analyze market trends and sales data to inform strategies.
