Job Overview

As a Senior/Business Development Manager EAP, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services by actively pursuing inbound and marketing generated leads also generating new leads independently. This role requires strong sales discipline, consistent follow-ups, and the ability to take conversations from first contact to closure.

You will be responsible to convert opportunities into long-term clients, while contributing to overall team targets. A basic understanding of mental health and employee wellbeing services is essential to succeed in this role.

Locations - Mumbai, MH / Delhi / NCR

Required Qualifications

Experience: 45 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or corporate solutions sales

Experience selling to HR, L&D, wellness, or corporate decision-makers is preferred

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Lead Generation & Pipeline Building

  • Own and drive EAP lead generation through targeted outbound initiatives, referrals, strategic networking, and existing professional relationships
  • Proactively identify and develop high-potential prospects to strengthen and sustain the overall sales pipeline

Lead Ownership & Opportunity Management

  • Take end-to-end ownership of inbound and marketing-generated leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and structured progression
  • Assess client needs, qualify opportunities, and strategically move prospects through the sales funnel to successful closure

Sales Execution & Deal Closure

  • Lead client conversations including discovery discussions, solution positioning, and stakeholder presentations
  • Drive momentum by ensuring timely proposals, pricing discussions, and closure activities in alignment with business targets

Sales Governance & Follow-up Discipline

  • Maintain rigorous follow-up discipline and accurate tracking of all sales activities and client interactions
  • Demonstrate persistence and strategic engagement in managing longer corporate sales cycles

Client Advisory & Solution Positioning

  • Build a strong working understanding of mental health, wellbeing, and EAP solutions to act as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Position EAP offerings with sensitivity and commercial relevance to HR, leadership, and decision-makers

Cross-functional & Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and support teams to align efforts and share best practices
  • Provide regular, structured updates on pipeline health, risks, and closures to enable informed decision-making

Note: Preference for People who have worked in B2B/EAP/Mental Health companies.
