ABOUT BLOSTEM

Blostem is a Startup India-registered fintech infrastructure company founded in October 2021, backed by leading investors including Rainmatter (Zerodha), MobiKwik, AC Ventures, GrowX, and Blue Lotus.

We provide a unified banking SDK and API that enables fintechs and financial institutions across

India to embed financial products — such as Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, and more - directly into their apps without building backend infrastructure from scratch. Our platform drastically reduces time-to-market: partners can go live in 7 days versus the traditional 9–12 months per bank integration. We handle regulatory compliance, bank onboarding, and reconciliation so our partners can focus entirely on user experience.

We serve 30+ platforms including MobiKwik, Upstox, Jupiter, and Zerodha, with partnerships across 10+ banks and NBFCs. We are ISO 27001 certified and operate as a Technical Service Provider under RBI and NPCI regulations with AES-256 encryption for data protection.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Blostem is at an inflection point. With a proven product, a growing roster of marquee partners, and

strong investor backing, we are now ready to scale enterprise revenue aggressively — and we need

a world-class sales leader to drive that growth.

As Senior BD Manager, you will own the full revenue engine: building and leading the enterprise

sales team, defining the go-to-market strategy, and closing high-value partnerships with fintechs,

NBFCs, banks, and digital platforms looking to embed financial products via our API and SDK

infrastructure.

This is a founding sales leadership role. You will work directly with the founders and Product team to

shape how Blostem sells, positions, and scales. If you thrive in 1 to 10x scale, love building from

scratch, and have a track record of closing complex B2B deals in fintech or SaaS — this role was

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue & Pipeline Ownership

• Own and deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets for enterprise and mid-market segments.

• Build, manage, and convert a high-quality sales pipeline across fintechs, NBFCs, banks, lending platforms, and digital consumer apps.

• Drive end-to-end deal cycles - from prospecting and discovery through commercial negotiation, legal review, and closure.

• Define and execute pricing strategies, deal structures, and commercial frameworks in collaboration with leadership.

GTM Strategy & Market Expansion

• Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for Blostem's API/SDK products across target verticals and geographies.

• Identify new market segments, partnership models, and revenue streams that expand Blostem's addressable market.

• Lead competitive positioning efforts - understand the landscape deeply and ensure Blostem wins on value, not just price.

• Collaborate with Marketing to align demand generation, content, and events with sales priorities.

Team Building & Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing enterprise sales team as the business scales.

• Establish sales processes, playbooks, and enablement frameworks that make the team repeatable and predictable.

• Set individual targets, conduct regular pipeline reviews, and coach team members to exceed their goals.

• Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and customer obsession within the sales organisation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with the Product team to feed market intelligence and customer feedback into the roadmap.

• Work with the Tech and Partnerships team to ensure smooth onboarding and integration for new enterprise clients.

• Coordinate with Legal and Finance for contract structuring, compliance, and commercial approvals.

• Represent Blostem at industry events, fintech forums, and ecosystem platforms to build brand presence and pipeline.

Reporting & Analytics

• Own CRM hygiene - ensure accurate, real-time visibility into pipeline, forecasts, and deal status.

• Report revenue performance, win/loss analysis, and market insights to the leadership team on a regular cadence.

• Define and track key sales KPIs: ARR growth, deal velocity, CAC, conversion rates, and net revenue retention.

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

• 3–8 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated expertise in driving revenue growth.

• Demonstrated track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals in fintech, SaaS, or banking technology.

• Deep understanding of the Indian fintech ecosystem - familiarity with fintechs, NBFCs, digital banks, and regulatory frameworks (RBI, NPCI).

• Experience selling API/SDK-based products, embedded finance solutions, or banking-as-a-service platforms is a strong differentiator.

• Strong commercial acumen - ability to structure multi-stakeholder deals, negotiate terms, and close with confidence.

• Proven ability to build and scale sales teams from the ground up in high-growth startup environments.

• Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have

• Existing network across Indian fintech platforms, NBFCs, cooperative banks, or digital lending companies.

• MBA from a premier institution (IIM, ISB, or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrated business acumen.

• Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and data-driven sales management practices.

• Exposure to regulatory and compliance considerations in fintech product sales.

• Experience operating in a product-led or API-led growth environment.
