With increasing environmental regulations across industries, Our client is expanding its Environmental Approvals vertical and is seeking a high-performing sales professional to drive business growth and client engagement.
Role Overview
The Senior Business Development Associate (Sr. BDA) will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting environmental compliance and regulatory consulting services across India. This is a consultative sales role involving engagement with CXOs, plant heads, and compliance leaders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Generation
2. Drive sales for environmental compliance and regulatory approval services
3. Convert inbound and outbound leads into high-value business opportunities
4. Manage and grow enterprise and mid-market client accounts Solution Selling
Promote and sell services including:
· Environmental Clearances
· Consent to Establish (CTE) / Consent to Operate (CTO)
· Pollution Control Board approvals
· EIA, ESG, and sustainability compliance
Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing, industrial, and corporate clients
· Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Leadership & Strategy
· Mentor and guide junior BD team members
· Track pipeline, revenue forecasts, and conversions through CRM tools
· Collaborate with legal, technical, and operations teams for seamless project delivery
Market Representation
· Represent the organization in client meetings, industry forums, and compliance discussions
Candidate Profile
· MBA or Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field
· 2–8 years of experience in Business Development or Consultative Sales
· Strong exposure to environmental consulting, regulatory approvals, or compliance services
· Proven track record in closing high-value deals
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
· Target-driven mindset with strong business acumen
