About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Senior Business Development Associate - EdTech to drive institutional sales and partnerships for our education products. This role is ideal for someone who understands the academic ecosystem, can build strong relationships with coaching centres and institutions, and has the confidence to close high-value deals in a fast-moving growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and close sales opportunities for the company's EdTech / LMS products
- Build and maintain relationships with coaching centres, school authorities, institution heads, and other key stakeholders
- Conduct meetings, presentations, demos, and field visits to drive business development
- Own the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets assigned by the company
- Maintain accurate reporting on meetings, follow-ups, conversions, and sales performance
- Support onboarding and relationship management for signed institutions
- Represent the company professionally in all business interactions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Commerce, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in business development / B2B sales, preferably in EdTech, education services, LMS, test prep, coaching, or academic solutions
- Proven experience in selling to coaching institutes, schools, colleges, or other educational institutions
- Strong understanding of the education market, especially the competitive exam or K-12 segment
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue / sign-up / institutional onboarding targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with field sales, institutional visits, and travel-based business development
- Strong follow-up discipline and reporting skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and commercially sharp
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in selling LMS, assessment solutions, test-prep products, SaaS, or academic technology products
- Existing network in IIT-JEE coaching centres, CBSE schools, or academic institutions
- Experience handling city-level or region-level institutional sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools, reporting systems, and structured sales processes
