Senior P&C Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Business Solution Development: As an insurance expert in the P&C/General Insurance line of business, develop and drive large and/or complex business solutions to meet customer requirements. Provide in-depth solutions based on specific customer business needs, considering solution fitment, functional coverage, and the technical architecture of the Integral Product.
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Understand customer requirements and collaborate with DXC product architects/SMEs and Delivery teams in designing and developing appropriate solutions. Lead and conduct Requirements & Design sessions with customers.
• Insurance Product Design & Configuration: Engage in insurance product design, development, and configuration of rules.
• Testing & Automation: Develop test strategies, create test plans, and support test automation efforts.
• Demos & POCs: Conduct demos and perform end-to-end Proofs of Concept (POCs) for specific clients based on DXC's Intellectual Property, working with and coordinating various teams, including experts and SMEs from Product and Delivery teams.
• Knowledge Management & Mentoring: Contribute to knowledge management and mentor less experienced staff.
• Communication & Leadership: Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Listen to clients effectively and articulate solutions for product development. Lead and coordinate with developers, other architects, and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work with peers in planning and coordination of work activities.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and Designing solutions specifically within the P&C & General Insurance domain.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in various insurance markets.
• Ability to develop and drive complex business solutions.
• Skills in insurance product design, development, and rule configuration.
• Capability to lead and conduct requirements and design sessions.
• Knowledge of developing test strategies, creating test plans, and supporting test automation.
• Ability to conduct demos and perform end-to-end POCs.
