Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of at least 8 years in software quality assurance and testing practices.
- Proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill) for test automation and development tasks.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium (Mandatory skill) for creating robust and scalable automated tests.
- Strong knowledge and skillset in API Testing (Mandatory skill) using tools and frameworks.
- Experience with Database Testing to ensure integrity and consistency of the backend data.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
- Ability to utilize Maven for project management and comprehension of its dependencies and lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for identifying potential defects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute and analyze automation scripts to identify any errors or issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand business requirements and feature implementations.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements and changes to improve product quality and overall experience.
- Report, track, and verify defects using appropriate defect tracking systems.
- Participate in regular code reviews and sprint planning sessions to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and best practices across the team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in software quality assurance.
