Senior Associate - ESG & Impact - Advisory

Role Overview

The Senior Associate – ESG Advisory will support the execution and delivery of ESG, sustainability, climate, impact, and responsible finance advisory projects. The role will involve research, analysis, report preparation, stakeholder engagement, data management, and development of client deliverables.

This position is ideal for professionals looking to deepen their expertise in ESG and sustainability consulting while working across diverse sectors and client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Support the delivery of ESG and sustainability advisory assignments.
• Conduct ESG assessments, materiality assessments, climate risk assessments, and sustainability benchmarking exercises.
• Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and impact reports.
• Support framework development for Green, Social, Sustainability, and Sustainability-Linked financing instruments.
• Conduct policy reviews, regulatory analysis, and ESG research.

Research & Analytics

• Perform sectoral and thematic research on ESG, climate, impact, sustainable finance, and regulatory developments.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative ESG data.
• Support impact measurement and reporting activities.
• Develop presentations, dashboards, and client-ready deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Support stakeholder consultations, surveys, interviews, and workshops.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for data collection and project management.
• Assist in maintaining project trackers and timelines.

Key Skills & Competencies

• MBA / CA / Post-Graduate from a Tier 1 institute
• 3-4 years of experience in corporate banking, consulting, or financial services, with exposure to mid and large corporates
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent writing and report drafting capabilities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
