Senior Associate, Supply Chain Planning

In this role, you will responsible for managing and optimizing the global supply chain network of the company. This includes planning and coordinating the movement of products from suppliers to distribution centres, ensuring timely delivery, minimizing costs, and maximizing efficiency. The Global Planner will work closely with various internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a global supply chain strategy that aligns with the company%27s overall business objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, identify supply chain risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and components required.

• Plan and optimize the transportation of goods from suppliers to distribution centers or customers, considering factors such as cost, lead time, and service level requirements.

• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory across the global supply chain network.

• Analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with logistics providers and customs agents to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and optimize freight forwarding processes.

• Participate in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure the best value for the company.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal departments, and logistics partners.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain performance.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field. Master%27s degree preferred.

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and transportation optimization

• Proficient in using supply chain planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems (Oracle), Salesforce DMS, demand planning software)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is preferred.
