Responsibilities

The Senior Associate in Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to enhance financial performance and support decision-making processes. Additionally, the Senior Associate will participate in audits and ensure timely submissions of financial reports to management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for financial planning and reporting.
  • Support the internal and external audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other compliance-related filings. Skills and Tools Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of tax compliance and regulations is an advantage. This role is critical for ensuring the financial health of Manipal Hospitals and requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual adept at managing financial operations efficiently.
