About the Role
We are seeking a sharp, analytical, and driven Chartered Accountant with 3 years of post-qualification experience to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial modeling, business partnering, and management reporting, ideally gained within a large multinational product company. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the Central FPA activities/ category mgt. and quarterly forecasting cycles across business units.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support short- and long-range planning.
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to functional heads.
Management Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and board-level presentations.
- Track KPIs and financial metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and automate reporting frameworks to improve speed and accuracy.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to support P&L ownership.
- Provide financial guidance on strategic initiatives, capex decisions, and investment cases.
- Challenge assumptions and drive commercial accountability across the organization.
Strategic Projects & Analysis
- Support scenario planning, and business case development.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Partner with senior leadership on ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Chartered Accountant (ICAI) – mandatory
Post-Qualification Exp.
Minimum 3 years in FP&A or related finance function
Industry
Multinational product/FMCG/Manufacturing company preferred
Financial Modeling
Advanced Excel; experience with 3-statement & DCF models
ERP / BI Tools
SAP, Oracle, or equivalent; Power BI / Tableau preferred
Soft Skills
Strong communicator; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
