Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Lead Apparel Designer to join our team on-site in Chennai. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end design process, translating concepts into innovative and functional activewear pieces. Your responsibilities will include creating design strategies, extensive research, keeping up with latest industry trends and innovations, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and analyzing market trends to inform creative decisions. Additionally, you will ensure each design meets brand standards and aligns with consumer preferences while maintaining a strong focus on quality, functionality and sustainability. We are looking for someone who is highly passionate about product and aligned in our mission to create high quality garments that perform.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, and Product Development

Proficiency in Design Software such as Adobe Illustrator, Clo3D, Photoshop, and other CAD tools

Ability to conduct Market Research and Trend Analysis to inform designs

Ability to work in a fast pace environment and collaborate with team members

Strong understanding of Textile Materials, Technical finishes, Manufacturing Processes, and Sustainability Practices

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Effective communication and presentation skills

Educational background in Fashion Design, Textile design or a closely related field

Previous experience in activewear or womenswear knitwear design or a related industry
