Job Title: Design Engineer Experienced -Design Drafting
Experience: 9-15 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models and 2D drawings, MBD using CATIA
- Perform aerostructure design for components such as fuselage, primary & Secondary support structures, brackets, sheet metal parts, and assemblies
- Create and modify engineering drawings, MBD as per standards
- Work with PLM tools like Enovia/Team Center for data management and release process
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and aerospace standards (GD&T, tolerances)
- Support design changes (ECR/ECO/ERD processes)
- Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of aerostructure design concepts
- Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Hands-on experience with CATIA V5
- Experience with PLM tools such as Enovia / Teamcenter
- Good understanding of sheet metal, machining, and assembly design
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- 9–15 years of experience in aerospace or engineering design domain
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in aerospace programs (Airbus/Boeing)
- Basic knowledge of stress analysis and manufacturing processes
- Good communication and teamwork skills
