As an Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix Administrator - Level 2, you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced support for the configuration and management of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix environments. You will work closely with Level 1 administrators, IT teams, and end-users to ensure effective virtual desktop solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Configuration and Optimization:

- Lead the advanced configuration and optimization of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix environments.

- Implement and manage advanced features, policies, and optimizations for virtual desktops and applications.

2. User Support and Training:

- Provide Level 2 support for end-users of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix, addressing complex issues related to virtual desktop access, application usage, and performance.

- Offer training and mentorship to Level 1 administrators and end-users.

3. Advanced Troubleshooting:

- Provide Level 2 support for Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix-related issues and incidents.

- Conduct root cause analysis for complex technical problems and implement advanced solutions.

4. Performance Monitoring and Maintenance:

- Oversee the monitoring of the performance and availability of virtual desktop environments.

- Participate in advanced maintenance tasks, updates, and performance tuning.

5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix configurations, best practices, and advanced troubleshooting procedures.

- Collaborate with senior administrators to create and update knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

- bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of experience in Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix administration, optimization, and advanced support.

- Proficiency in advanced Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix configurations, including policies, optimizations, and performance tuning.
