Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records for Australian companies.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Use accounting software such as Xero,MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
