Job Description
Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting
operations for our manufacturing business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining
accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial statements, and
coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally (ERP / Prime).
Record financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements.
Handle GST compliance including return filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and timely filing of returns.
Assist in Income Tax computation and filings.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
Maintain inventory, raw material, WIP, and finished goods accounting.
Support cost accounting and stock valuation for manufacturing operations.
Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, banks, and consultants.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
Prepare MIS reports and provide financial data to management as required.
Maintain proper financial documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
Working knowledge of payroll processing and labor law compliances.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com preferred).
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Strong working knowledge of Tally (ERP / Prime).
Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
Experience in balance sheet finalization and audit coordination.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Good communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred (Good to Have)
Exposure to manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management.
Experience working with ERP systems beyond Tally.
Prior coordination experience with CA firms and statutory auditors.
