Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Pune Division. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant standards. Responsibilities include preparing accurate quarterly and annual financial statements, monitoring budgets, and ensuring timely payroll processing. The role also involves analyzing financial data, assisting with audits, and implementing effective accounting policies and controls.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management
• Experience with financial planning, analysis, and audit preparation
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Thorough understanding of tax preparation, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA certification is a plus)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role with project based companies, with preference for exposure to the safety and security or engineering industry
