Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, managing tax and compliance-related activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, preparing budgets, monitoring financial transactions, and collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and preparing financial statements
• Experience with tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and audit processes
• Strong skills in budget planning, forecasting, and financial management
• Expertise in using accounting software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Prior experience in a senior or managerial accounting role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and management
