SEO & ASO Expert — SpeakX

Location: Gurgaon (In-office) Experience: 3–5 Years

The Role

This is one role, not two. We're looking for someone who understands that SEO and ASO are two sides of the same coin — organic discoverability, conversion, and growth. You'll own both: getting SpeakX found on Google and getting it downloaded from the Play Store and App Store.

You think in keywords, rankings, and conversion funnels — but you also know that behind every search is a parent looking for the best way to help their child speak English confidently. That's the intent you're optimising for.

What You'll Own

SEO — Web & Content → Own keyword strategy — research, mapping, and prioritisation across all content → Drive on-page and technical SEO — site structure, speed, schema, crawlability → Build and execute a content SEO roadmap — identify gaps, brief writers, track rankings → Grow organic backlink profile through outreach and strategic partnerships.

ASO — App Store Optimisation → Own Play Store and App Store listings — title, description, keywords, screenshots, previews → Run continuous A/B tests on store creatives to improve install conversion rate → Monitor keyword rankings, impressions, and conversion across both stores → Analyse competitor ASO strategies and find opportunities to outrank and outconvert.

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years in SEO and/or ASO — consumer apps or edtech strongly preferred.
  • You've owned an organic channel solo — rankings improved because of decisions you made.
  • Comfortable with Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawl budgets, and site architecture .
  • Fluent in Ahrefs/Semrush, Google Search Console, AppFollow/Sensor Tower, and GA4.
  • You interpret data to form hypotheses, run tests, and iterate — not just to make slides.
  • You move fast, prioritise ruthlessly, and don't let perfect be the enemy of shipped

Good to have: Vernacular / multilingual SEO · App Store localisation · Prior startup experience
