Job Description:

This is opportunity for both a full-time position and part-time position in both our Mohali office and our Sydney Australia office. You will have your own pattern making & garment construction room within our head office in India. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for fashion, and a strong understanding of garment construction. This role requires self-discipline and adaptability to work and self-manage. 

Requirements:

We require an experienced tailor to work with us onsite to produce bespoke fashion garments from stitching to finishing for our men's and women's designs. This would include pants suits, shirts, lowers, and tops.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the designers and will produce clean and premium finished garments.

2. Make alterations based on design modifications and measurements.

3. Working knowledge of handling different kinds of fabrics and ensuring the correct handling of construction accordingly.

4. Ensuring proper finishing according to the particular design with respect to hand stitching hems, buttons and ironing.

5. Provide input on improving garment construction to make them more premium and presentable whenever required.

6. Must be experienced in machine embroidery for small embroidery emblem placement.

Qualifications:

1. 3 years of working experience in the garment construction industry.

2. Premium stitching skills and a professional knowledge of the use and care of sewing machines.
