Garment Production Manager

At Fittora, where AI meets artisanal craftsmanship, we are building India's first luxury-tech atelier. We are seeking a highly capable Garment Production Manager to oversee daily operations across garment technicians, pattern makers, seamstresses, and sourcing teams. This role blends technical garment knowledge with strong managerial and vendor coordination skills. You will ensure every department functions seamlessly to deliver luxury, made-to-measure garments with uncompromising quality and efficiency.

• Manage and lead a cross-functional team of garment technicians, pattern makers, seamstresses, and sourcing staff.
• Supervise end-to-end production workflow from AI-driven design interpretation to final garment finishing.
• Ensure timely sampling, fit corrections, approvals, and bulk production delivery.
• Establish and monitor production timelines, cost controls, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with sourcing to maintain strong vendor networks for fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Identify, check and evaluate fabric quality.
• Utilize local area knowledge to identify, evaluate, and negotiate with fabric vendors and suppliers in Punjab and surrounding regions.
• Conduct vendor negotiations on pricing, MOQs, and lead times while maintaining premium quality standards.
• Oversee material audits, incoming quality checks, and inventory management.
• Coordinate across design, QA, and production teams to resolve challenges quickly.
• Maintain detailed production reports, resource allocation updates, and cost analyses for management.
• Foster a culture of craftsmanship, precision, and operational excellence across the production floor.
• Maintain quality standards during garment production and apply technical knowledge of garment stitching, finishing and fitting.

• 7+ years of experience in production/operations management within fashion, apparel manufacturing, or luxury tailoring.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fabrics, and finishing techniques.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end production teams and processes.
• Excellent vendor management skills with in-depth knowledge of fabric suppliers and sourcing channels.
• Familiarity with local and regional fashion ecosystem (Punjab/North India) for sourcing and operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with operational feasibility.
