Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to lead and support multiple software development teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban, and hands-on experience with tools like Azure DevOps. This role requires a focus on continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the teams adhere to Agile principles to achieve business goals effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Guide teams in the adoption and consistent application of Agile frameworks (Scrum and/or Kanban).
  • Facilitate key ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Ensure teams follow Agile principles and practices to deliver value incrementally.
  • Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple development teams, fostering a culture of self-organization and accountability.
  • Identify and address team impediments, ensuring smooth progress toward sprint goals.
  • Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
  • Promote transparency by tracking and communicating team progress, velocity, and other key metrics using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process optimization and implementing actionable changes.
  • Facilitate retrospectives to gather feedback and implement improvements in team workflows and collaboration.
  • Evaluate and adapt Agile practices to suit the needs of the teams and the organization.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps for sprint planning, backlog management, and tracking team progress.
  • Ensure effective usage of dashboards, boards, and reporting tools within Azure DevOps to enhance visibility and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 69 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach working with software development teams.
  • Proven experience managing multiple teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical implementation.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cumulative flow diagrams.
  • Certification in Agile frameworks (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • An outgoing and collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and foster teamwork.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability and openness to feedback.
