Role: Scrum Master
Scrum Master is part of the Scrum Master Platforms team under the Agile Transformation team and Digital Strategy, Governance and Transformation department in the Digital function. The SM will closely work with the A/C and Electrical Simulation installation (DPS) in their transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies.
- Coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the on-time and quality delivery.
- Facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives etc. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics
- As a Scrum Master, you will work alongside 2 or more Scrum Teams in SAFe setup, ensuring timely delivery of features within budget and quality to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Takes care that the team follows the software development process with all relevant process steps (responsible for process execution)
- Act as an RTE backup as and when required
- Drive PI planning and PI execution for their teams and monitors and highlights risk and dependencies timely and takes necessary action
- Monitors team's KPIs and metrics and presents the KPIs to ART management and Leadership as needed.
- Effectively guide and facilitate the Scrum events to consistently achieve the sprint goals.
- Protect scrum teams from outside distractions, impediments or team conflicts, and maintain focus on product backlog and project timeline.
- Exhibit servant leadership to serve the scrum team and the larger organisation.
- Work/collaborate/communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Regularly monitor and control the metrics to meet project/product goals.
- Coaching, mentoring, and fostering the culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and self-organising within the team.
- Ensure that sprint deliverables are adhering to the Quality and regulatory guidelines
- Experience with conflict resolution, scope management, issue & risk tracking, communicating to clients and partners and vendor management
- Collaborate transversally with other members of the Agile community in transversal activities/initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Agile SAFE methodology and framework.
- Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to the team and to management.
- Experience with conflict resolution, scope management, issue & risk tracking, communicating to clients and partners and vendor management
- Ability to think creatively and resolve impediments quickly
- Ability to handle changes smoothly and positively
- Experience in managing Agile Product Lifecycle tools (e.g. VersionOne, Jira, Ansible, etc.)
- Certified SAFe Scrum Master (CSM) is required and Certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a plus
