Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Scrum Master with strong understanding of Agile practices to guide our product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will enable efficient delivery, foster collaboration, and ensure teams follow Agile values and Scrum framework while building scalable SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Coach and mentor teams on Agile/Scrum best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy product backlog, refine user stories, and ensure clarity of acceptance criteria.
Track sprint progress through velocity, burndown charts, and other Agile metrics; proactively identify risks and delays.
Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous delivery across engineering teams.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Product, Design, DevOps) to deliver high-quality SaaS features.
Ensure proper documentation, sprint reports, and process compliance.
Encourage collaboration, communication and support high-performance team dynamics.
Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and adoption of Agile tools used for SaaS product delivery.
Ensure alignment with SaaS-specific priorities such as uptime, scalability, security, and fast release cycles.
Required Skills & Experience
58 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environment (SaaS preferred).
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in applying them in software product teams.
Experience working with SaaS teams focusing on product releases, CI/CD, dev cycles, technical teams, and cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to analyze and track Agile metrics (velocity, capacity, burndown).
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud concepts, and modern engineering practices.
Scrum certification (CSM, PSM I/II) preferred.
Nice-to-Have
Experience working with DevOps, SRE, or cloud-based SaaS architectures.
Exposure to API-based platforms, microservices, and fast-paced product teams.
Knowledge of OKRs, roadmap planning, or product processes.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or related field.
