SCRUM MASTER WITH JIRA ADMINISTRATION

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with Jira administration expertise to join our organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader, facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing project workflows in Jira, and empowering teams to deliver high-quality products consistently. This role bridges technical project management expertise with people-focused leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement

• Administer and maintain Jira environments, including user management, project configuration, and workflow optimization

• Create and customize Jira workflows, fields, and dashboards to align with team and organizational processes

• Monitor sprint metrics and provide actionable insights through Jira reports and dashboards

• Manage issue tracking, escalation procedures, and resolution workflows to maintain project velocity

• Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team productivity and sprint success

• Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and Scrum principles

• Support integration of Jira with other development tools and platforms (CI/CD, testing, documentation)

• Train users on Jira functionality and ensure adoption across the organization

• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to define requirements and improve delivery processes

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach

• 2+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Jira

• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework

• Proficiency in Jira administration including user management, permissions, workflows, and custom fields

• Experience with Jira dashboards, reports, and REST APIs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and project management practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent

• Extensive knowledge of Confluence for documentation and collaboration

• Experience with Jira Cloud or Server administration

• Familiarity with Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools

• Experience implementing and optimizing Jira integrations with other tools
