Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:

As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. This role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are addressed promptly, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals. The Scrum Master actively facilitates communication and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders, while continuously monitoring progress and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability throughout the development cycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team s progress and productivity.
• Support the professional growth and development of team members by providing coaching and mentoring.
• Promote transparency and effective communication between the team and stakeholders to align expectations and deliverables.

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
• Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint cycles.
• Ability to analyze and report project metrics to track team performance and progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving to maintain team focus and productivity.

• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
