We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to guide and support Agile teams through the delivery of high-value software products. This role requires a strong understanding of Scrum principles, SAFe practices, and the ability to coach teams to become self-organizing, high-performing units. The Scrum Master will facilitate PI Planning, iteration events, and work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure seamless Agile execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile & Scrum Facilitation:
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning including preparation, coordination, drafting PI plans, and creating team PI objectives.
- Guide the team through Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support the execution of iterations and sprints, ensuring delivery alignment and backlog health.
- Remove impediments to team progress and act as a servant-leader for the Scrum Team.
Product Owner Support:
- Assist in defining effective Product Goals and managing the Product Backlog.
- Help the team and Product Owner understand the importance of clear and concise backlog items.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and engagement as needed.
Team Coaching & Development:
- Coach team members in self-management and Agile best practices.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the team, focused on delivering high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Drive continuous process improvements and facilitate a culture of inspection and adaptation.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Strong experience applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory in real-world projects.
- Hands-on experience working within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
- Previous experience as a Team Leader with capabilities in coaching, mentoring, and training Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
