The
Autonomy Project Team Leader provides delivery leadership for crossfunctional engineering teams building and maintaining
businesscritical applications deployed on a
Kubernetesbased platform across
onpremise and AWS environments.
This role is accountable for
delivery execution, predictability, quality, and risk management, enabling teams to deliver highimpact outcomes while operating within enterprise agile practices and platform standards. The role partners closely with Product Owners, Platform teams, and stakeholders to ensure value is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery execution for 2–3 crossfunctional engineering teams delivering critical applications.
- Own delivery health including planning, dependencies, risks, quality, and schedule commitments.
- Facilitate agile execution using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery models; lead core delivery ceremonies.
- Proactively identify and remove delivery impediments; drive mitigation of crossteam and platform dependencies.
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog readiness and alignment to business priorities.
- Coordinate with Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure deployment readiness and operational stability.
- Use delivery metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement and inform leadership decisions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software delivery, engineering project leadership, or agile delivery roles.
- Proven experience leading teams delivering enterprise or businesscritical applications.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices in multiteam, complex environments.
- Experience working with cloud (AWS) and onpremise application deployments; Kubernetes exposure preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Engineering Project/Program Lead.
- Experience supporting highavailability, operationally critical, or regulated systems.
- Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation, and riskmanagement skills.
- Agile or delivery certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMP, or equivalent).
