Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business One Technical Consultant to lead end-to-end technical implementations, customizations, and optimizations of SAP Business One solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while managing multiple projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Business One Technical Implementation
- Lead technical implementation, customization, and enhancement of SAP Business One solutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure technical solutions align with business processes and requirements.
- Analyse business needs and convert them into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
Custom Development & Integration
- Develop and maintain SAP B1 customizations and add-ons using SDK, DI-API, Service Layer, and B1 Updater.
- Design and build integrations with third-party systems using APIs, middleware, or web services.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of developed solutions.
Reporting & Database Management
- Design, develop, and optimize reports using Crystal Reports.
- Create and optimize SQL Server queries, views, and stored procedures.
- Work with SAP Business One on HANA, including familiarity with HANA architecture and performance optimization.
Support & Optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Provide technical support during go-live and post-implementation phases.
- Conduct system performance tuning and continuous improvement activities.
Documentation & Best Practices
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system design, configurations, and custom developments.
- Follow SAP best practices and development standards to ensure long-term solution stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Business One Technical Consultant.
- Strong expertise in SAP B1 SDK, DI-API, Service Layer, and Crystal Reports.
- Solid experience with SQL Server and database optimization.
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One on HANA.
- Experience in third-party system integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Business One Technical Certification.
- Exposure to multiple SAP B1 implementations across industries.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
