Job Title: SAP Security Consultant (S/4HANA & Fiori – Profiles Focused)

Location: Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad, India (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full Time/Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a senior-level SAP Security Consultant with deep hands-on experience in SAP Security profiles, S/4HANA Security, and SAP Fiori Security. This role is purely SAP Security focused with minimal to no emphasis on SAP GRC. The consultant will be involved in major SAP implementation initiatives, security design, and end-to-end authorization management across complex SAP landscapes.

This role may involve working with or supporting one of MatchPoint Solutions client organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain SAP roles, profiles, and authorization concepts
• Build, modify, and troubleshoot SAP Security profiles in complex landscapes
• Manage user, role, and profile administration across S/4HANA and Fiori applications
• Support end-to-end SAP implementations including role design, remediation, and testing
• Review, control, and remediate critical and sensitive access points
• Conduct authorization object analysis and resolve security defects
• Ensure least-privilege access and strong SAP security governance
• Translate functional requirements into secure and scalable authorization designs
• Support cutover, go‑live, and hypercare security activities
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements and user access reviews
• Collaborate closely with functional, business, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

Required:

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience
• 3–4 full End‑to‑End SAP implementations or rollouts
• Strong expertise in SAP Security profiles and authorization concepts
• Mandatory hands-on experience in:
• S/4HANA Security
• SAP Fiori Security (Catalogs, Groups, Roles, OData authorizations)
• Experience in role design, role build, remediation, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA simplification impacts on security
• Experience in SAP upgrade cycles (ECC to S/4HANA or major version upgrades)
• Ability to support security testing, cutover activities, and hypercare

Preferred / Advantage:

• Experience supporting internal & external audits (user access reviews, compliance checks)
• SAP GRC knowledge is a plus but not mandatory

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively with functional consultants, technical teams, and business users
• Strong analytical approach to security discussions during implementation phases
