Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
SAP SD Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in
SAP S/4HANA (Public & Private Cloud). The role involves leading end-to-end SAP SD implementations, working closely with business stakeholders, and delivering scalable, compliant, and optimized Sales & Distribution solutions. The ideal candidate will be customer-facing, proactive, and capable of supporting both project and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP SD implementations on SAP S/4HANA (Public & Private Cloud)
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops using SAP Activate methodology
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP SD solutions
- Configure and optimize core SAP SD processes including:
- Sales Order Management
- Pricing & Condition Techniques
- Contracts & Rebates
- Credit Management (Classic / FSCM)
- Shipping, Delivery & Billing
- Output Management in S/4HANA
- Design and implement E-Invoicing solutions (country-specific and global compliance)
- Integrate SAP SD with SAP DRC / ACR, middleware, and third-party E-Invoicing providers
- Work with SAP Best Practices and S/4HANA simplification items
- Collaborate with FI, MM, EWM/WM teams for seamless integration
- Support data migration, testing phases (UT, SIT, UAT), cutover, and go-live
- Provide post-go-live support, continuous improvement, and incident/CR management
- Provide periodic and structured updates to customers on incidents, enhancements, and progress
- Offer extended support during weekends or critical periods (patching, restarts, priority issues)
Must-Have Skill Set (Mandatory)
- 8+ years of SAP SD functional experience
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA SD
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public & Private Cloud
- Deep configuration expertise in Sales, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management
- Hands-on experience with E-Invoicing compliance and integrations
- Experience working with SAP Fiori applications
- Strong understanding of SAP SD integration with FI, MM, EWM/WM
- Ability to work directly with business users and resolve issues from a business perspective
- Strong documentation and functional specification writing skills
- Willingness to provide extended or weekend support when required
Nice-to-Have Skill Set (Preferred)
- SAP S/4HANA SD Certification
- Experience with SAP DRC / ACR
- Exposure to Public Cloud extensibility and limitations
- Experience working with middleware and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of SAP Output Management (BRF+, Adobe Forms)
- Prior experience in global rollout or multi-country implementations
