Role Overview
As an SAP SD Consultant, you will serve as a critical bridge between business requirements and technical execution within the S/4 HANA environment. You will engage directly with stakeholders to analyze sales and distribution workflows, translate these needs into functional specifications, and oversee the configuration of the SAP system to optimize order-to-cash processes.
By maintaining system integrity and driving continuous improvement, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients achieve seamless operational performance and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure SAP SD modules to align with client-specific business processes, ensuring high levels of system performance and user adoption.
- Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects, managing the full lifecycle from blueprinting and realization to final deployment and hyper-care support.
- Resolve complex functional issues and provide ongoing support to existing clients, minimizing downtime and ensuring stable system operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD modules with other SAP components such as MM, FI, and PP to create a unified enterprise solution.
- Facilitate workshops with business process owners to gather requirements and document functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
- Perform rigorous testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate system functionality before production release.
Required Skillset
- Possess 6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, with a proven track record of successful SAP S/4 HANA implementations.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in configuration management, including pricing procedures, shipping, billing, and credit management.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to troubleshoot functional bottlenecks and provide scalable solutions for complex business challenges.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable business insights for non-technical team members.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple project workstreams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration, complemented by a strong understanding of supply chain and sales operations.
- Adapt seamlessly to the collaborative work culture at our Bangalore office, contributing to team knowledge sharing and best-practice development.
