As an SAP Service Management (Previously in ECC its CS) Consultant, he/she should understand business processes and architecture of Airbus SAP landscape and define/suggest SAP best practices and Golden rules. Your area of responsibility will extend to designing, implementing, and supporting the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Service Management modules within the SAP ERP system, focusing on managing sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, customer interactions, service orders, and related processes.

The role requires strong functional knowledge of S/4HANA Service (formerly CS/PM/SM) with hands-on configuration experience, ability to work with business teams, gather requirements, design to-be processes, perform system build, testing, cutover, and provide post-go-live support.

The candidate will join the spares & services team providing digital solutions to manage business processes throughout the Airbus group wide. As such, he/she needs to have a strong customer focus.

The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 5-7 years of SAP experience with at least 1-2 end-to-end implementations in S/4HANA Service (This should be mandatory).

  • Possess strong communication skills for managing stakeholders and daily customer interactions.

  • Good understanding of SAP ERP, functional and/or technical SAP application knowledge.

  • Knowledge of industry trends, business strategies, and SAP's strategy and service portfolio.

Strong functional expertise in:

  • Service Orders Management,Service Contracts & Recurring Services, In-House Repair / Field Service, Service Confirmation & Billing, Warranty Claims Management, Equipment/Functional Location Management, Condition-based or consumption-based services.

Hands-on configuration in:

  • Service Profiles, Item Categories, Pricing, Service Order Types, Status Profiles, Billing Plans, DIP Profiles, Resource Planning & Time Confirmation, Fiori apps related to Service Management

Preferred Qualifications for SAP:

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA 2021 or higher.

  • Experience with SAP FSM (Field Service Management) is a plus.

  • SAP certification in S/4HANA Service or CS preferred.

Desired skills:

  • Strong functional knowledge in the SAP modules that drive the Services business like SAP S4/Hana Service, CS/ Asset Management

  • Integration Knowledge with linked modules (e.g. Finance, Sales, …)

  • Knowledge of Sales and Service Business Processes

  • SAP S4 experience is a clear plus

  • Experience in a SAP S4 Migration/transformation project

  • Capability to customize SAP modules

  • Experience in leading workshops with the business counterparts

  • Capability to challenge business needs so as to come back to standard functions

  • Proven project management experience

  • Stakeholder management, problem solving, facilitation and negotiation skills and a consultative approach

Responsibilities

  • Significant experience of delivering operational IT support services in a highly integrated, multi-application environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Be part of a large business transformation project including the move to a SAP S4 system

  • Manage SAP Service topics in different projects of the department, perform change requests and support the RUN team in case of expertise support

  • Business Process Analysis and Solution Design (process mapping,requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution blueprinting)

  • SAP Configuration, Implementation and Testing

  • Address business process needs related to service

  • Customize the relevant SAP modules in order to link business needs with SAP solutions

  • Promote and deliver standard solutions to the business

  • Organize gap analysis loops and drive business to come back to the standard. Lead the decision process by the business value and CoE for ERP strategy

  • Manage the project activities to build and deploy the IT solutions
