Role Overview
As an SAP PPQM Consultant, you will serve as a critical bridge between business requirements and technical execution within the SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and key business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize production planning and quality management workflows. Your primary impact will be ensuring seamless integration across the supply chain, enhancing manufacturing efficiency, and maintaining stringent quality standards that directly influence our clients operational output and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure SAP PP and QM modules to align with specific business manufacturing processes and quality assurance protocols.
- Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects, managing everything from blueprinting and gap analysis to final system deployment and user training.
- Execute complex integrations between PP/QM and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FICO to ensure data consistency across the enterprise.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for existing S/4HANA environments to minimize downtime and resolve functional bottlenecks.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications that improve overall production throughput and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to oversee data migration, testing cycles, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
Required Skillset
- Possess 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM functional consulting, with a proven track record of successful S/4HANA implementations.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in production planning, shop floor control, capacity planning, and quality inspection processes.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to diagnose system issues and design effective, long-term functional solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and project managers to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple project workstreams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration, complemented by a solid understanding of manufacturing industry standards.
- Adapt seamlessly to the Bangalore-based office environment, working effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
