A Day in the Life
Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.
This role will provide support for MiniMed Order to Cash Process.
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Own and deliver end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) functional processes within SAP, acting as a senior subject‑matter expert for SD‑related solutions.
- Engage with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP SD solutions.
- Design, configure, and support SAP SD processes covering order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management.
- Provide functional leadership for SAP Order to Cash process, ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process designs.
- Support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and production support, including defect resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage incident resolution, change requests, and enhancements, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
- Lead functional design reviews, prepare solution documentation, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and enterprise standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to senior and junior functional consultants, ensuring high‑quality delivery and knowledge continuity.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams on interface design, enhancements, and performance optimization.
- Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.
Required Knowledge And Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Order to Cash and SAP SD.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP SD module - Sales order management, Delivery and shipping processing, Billing and invoicing, Pricing and condition technique, Credit management
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end OTC business processes, from order creation through revenue recognition.
- Experience with SAP SD integration with MM, FI, logistics processes and availability check
- Experience working with interfaces, IDocs, from third‑party or upstream systems.
- S/4 implementation experience is mandatory
- High business sensitivity, result oriented with ability to manage stakeholders and contractors.
- Ability to work with teams across geographical locations with various functional & technical expertise. Ability to work globally with diverse nationalities in a matrix environment
- Proactive, self-starter and able to take initiative
- Fluent English. Strong written and verbal communication skills
