Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP HR/Payroll professional with strong expertise in PCR (Personal Calculation Rule) and payroll processes for Canada or US environments. The ideal candidate will provide support, configuration, and enhancement for SAP HCM modules and ensure smooth payroll operations.
Responsibilities:
Work with client success teams to translate customer/business needs into technical procedures
Enhance and maintain business intelligence platforms for improved analytics
Provide support and streamline data consolidation processes
Understand optimization opportunities based on product roadmap, business challenges, and innovation options
Configure SAP system with client using PCRs (read & write)
Support client on payroll management, identify issues, and provide solutions
Work on ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy for incident tracking and resolution
Participate in year-end activities (HRSPs, payroll calendars)
Handle Core HR processes including Organizational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA)
Create personnel actions, dynamic actions, and objects in OM
Configure and maintain Canada Payroll & Benefits (on-premise or S4)
Use user exits, benefits configuration (e.g., Canada Pension Plans), and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding SLA times and support processes
Operate in large or remote teams and collaborate using Agile tools
Experience & Qualifications:
6-8 years of SAP HR experience
Hands-on experience in payroll PCRs, reading and writing PCRs for time and payroll
Knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and year-end activities
Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy)
Good communication skills and experience in virtual/remote team environments
Experience in Agile tools is preferred
Experience with data comparison tools for large-scale employee data is an advantage
