Role Overview
The SAP GTS Consultant will be responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting SAP Global Trade Services across Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management areas. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure compliant global trade operations and seamless integration with SAP ERP/S/4HANA systems. This role requires hands-on experience in system configuration, testing, issue resolution, and global rollout activities.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge in SAP GTS compliance and customs
- Support SAP GTS modules including Compliance Management, Product Classification, Customs Management and transport management.
- Perform end-to-end integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA including BP transfer, material master integration, and document transfer.
- Support SPL, legal control, embargo checks, product classification, and license management.
- Coordinate with business user for business requirements
- Work with global trade compliance teams to ensure correct SPL screening, embargo handling, and legal control checks.
- Maintain product classification data including HS codes, ECCN, and preference processing.
- Monitor regulatory changes and support impact assessments.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare business requirements
- participate in solution design.
- Execute SIT/UAT cycles, manage defects, and support user training sessions.
- Support cutover activities, go-live, and post-production hyper care.
- Handle change requests continuous improvements and documentation capability.
Qualification And Experience
- Any Degree
- 4–6 years of hands-on SAP GTS experience including implementation and support.
- Experience with S/4HANA preferred.
- Knowledge of global rollout processes and multi-country deployments is an advantage.
