Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Functional Consultant with 68 years of SAP experience, including hands-on implementation and support in SAP GTS. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting global trade compliance and customs management processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless integration with SAP ERP/S4HANA systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end SAP GTS implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
- Configure and support core GTS modules including:
- Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party List Screening, Embargo Checks)
- Customs Management
- Risk Management
- Preference Processing
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to global trade and translate them into SAP GTS solutions.
- Configure legal regulations, product classifications, and customs procedures within SAP GTS.
- Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC or S/4HANA and other third-party systems.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Provide production support and resolve business-critical issues within defined SLAs.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEF objects and work closely with technical teams.
- Conduct user training sessions and support documentation preparation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 68 years of overall SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP GTS.
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP GTS modules.
- Experience in at least 12 end-to-end SAP GTS implementations.
- Good understanding of global trade compliance, customs processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA for International Trade.
- Knowledge of EDI/IDocs related to customs and trade compliance.
- Exposure to global trade regulations (US, EU, APAC).
- SAP GTS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
