Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant L3 Support to act as the primary escalation point for complex FICO issues in SAP ECC. The role covers production support, advanced customization, integration management, functional specification ownership, and mentoring of L1/L2 teams. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance and RE-FX is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Tax, Controlling including CO-PA, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Month-End Cost Allocation).
- Resolve complex FI/CO issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions. Lead SAP FICO customization and enhancement projects.
- Hands on Experience in SAP FSCM mainly on Credit Management, Collection Management and Dispute Management.
- Manage integrations with MM, SD, PP, Banking systems, and third-party applications.
- Prepare, review, and approve Functional Specifications for reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces, and workflows.
- Support month-end, year-end, and statutory closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, depreciation, FX, and CO period-end processes.
- Act as escalation point for L2/L1 teams, provide guidance and mentorship.
- Coordinate with technical/ABAP teams for complex developments and transport.
- Lead UAT, regression testing, and post-go-live activities.
- Maintain SOPs, KT documentation, and identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Design and define user roles and authorizations in SAP FICO to align with business activities and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate and onboard vendors for project assignments based on technical assessment and suitability.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (ECC), including L2/L3 support.
- Strong experience in SAP FICO customization and complex integrations.
- Proficient in Functional Specification documentation.
- Proven experience as escalation point and mentor for L1/L2 teams.
- Understanding of financial accounting, controlling, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or IT.
