Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in
SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting. The role involves designing, configuring, and supporting SAP FI processes while working closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a SAP FICO Consultant with hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project
- Configure and support SAP FI modules, including:
- Accounts Receivable (Primary)
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Fixed Assets
- Design and implement financial accounting and controlling processes in SAP
- Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities using SAP FICO
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP system configurations
- Perform fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, configuration, and customization activities
- Prepare and maintain functional design documents, test cases, and test results
- Execute Unit, Integration, UAT, and Regression testing
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues raised by end users
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI-related issues
- Participate in delivery of small to medium-sized SAP projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and project managers
- Mentor junior team members and act as a subject matter expert
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Overall in IT 7yrs min, min 6+ years of SAP consulting experience with SAP FICO in SAP S/4HANA
- Strong functional expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration and integration
- Deep understanding of financial business processes and SAP FI architecture
- Experience with SAP testing methodologies and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Nice to Have
- Integration experience between FI and SD modules
- Knowledge of Intercompany Accounting
- Team handling or project management exposure
- SAP certification or formal SAP training
- Experience working in Agile project environments
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred: Master's Degree
