Job Description
8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis. Should be a Technical Architect in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP RISE landscapes, and should have been part of at least one full RISE migration or major upgrade.
SAP RISE - Hands On Experience
- SAP RISE Implementation and migration experience
- SAP Activate methodology expertise
- Experience with SAP landscape implementation on hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing the interaction between Customer, SAP and SI partner.
- Tooling & Governance: knowledge with SAP tools - SAP Signavio (process insights), SAP LeanIX (architecture)
- Experience with connectivity setup between on premise systems and RISE (VPN, SAP Cloud Connector, interfaces, SSO) in line with security and compliance requirements
- Understand and work within the RISE with SAP roles and responsibilities model (SAP, customer, and SI partner) for S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
- Coordinate with SAP for SAP servers provisioning, sizing validation, and configuration of RISE landscapes (system IDs, tenants, connectivity, certificates, FW ports)
- Support system conversions and migrations to RISE (brownfield/greenfield/bluefield) including prechecks, readiness, custom code impact, and cutover technical tasks
- Experience in differentiating between SRs - Service requests vs ASR - Assisted Service Requests and when raise which type of request.
- Experience with SAP Single Sign On (SSO) solutions and implementation
- Knowledge on SAP Data Migration & Integration topics/tools
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) - Hands On Experience
- SAP BTP Global and Subaccount Administration
- SAP BTP Services/Instances subscription and integration with SAP IdP/Custom IdP
- SAP BTP Security - Roles/Role Collections, Destination Services
- Experience with SAP Identity Management - SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)
- SAP Cloud ALM experience - monitoring setup, Transport management setup/support, Project Management.
- SAP Joule enablement.
- Cloud Architecture Understanding: Knowledge of how functional configurations integrate with SAP BTP and external cloud applications
SAP BASIS Hands On Experience
- SAP installation, Upgrades, Migration experience
- Candidate Should have experience with Windows and Linux/Unix based SAP deployments
- Experience with SAP EEC, S/4HANA system administration and SAP HANA database administration
- Perform system refreshes, client copies, support pack/feature pack upgrades, kernel upgrades, and add on installations
- Monitor and optimize system performance and perform root cause analysis for performance issues
- Administer SAP HANA (and other DBs where applicable) including backup/restore, space management, performance tuning, and basic DB security.
- Experience and understanding about SSL/TLS connections
- Manage SAP user administration, roles, and authorizations in coordination with security and compliance teams.
- Exposure to Integration Suite, PI/PO, and interface troubleshooting (IDocs, RFC, web services, APIs)
