Role Overview
Zensar is seeking an experienced
SAP FICO Consultant to support
AMS engagements for global clients. The role focuses on
L2/L3 production support, incident and problem management, minor enhancements, and continuous improvement in a
SLAdriven, ITILbased support environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
AMS Support & Incident Management
- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP FI and CO modules
- Resolve incidents, service requests, and defects within defined SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
- Proactively reduce recurring financerelated incidents
Enhancements & Change Requests
- Handle minor enhancements and configuration changes in FI/CO
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinate with ABAP teams
- Support release cycles, transport management, and regression testing
Business & Client Interaction
- Act as functional SPOC for FICO AMS support
- Interact with finance users across US / EU / APAC regions
- Participate in AMS governance calls, SLA reviews, and status reporting
Testing & Documentation
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
- Maintain ticket documentation, SOPs, KT documents, and knowledge base
- Support transition and knowledgetransfer activities
Integration Support
- Handle FICO integration issues with:
- MM (GR/IR, vendor accounting)
- SD (billing, revenue posting, credit management)
- Asset Accounting & Controlling objects
Qualifications
Required Skills
SAP FI
- GL, AP, AR
- Asset Accounting
- Bank Accounting & Payment programs
- Monthend and Yearend closing activities
SAP CO
- Cost Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Basic exposure to COPA
- Cost allocations and settlements
AMS / Support
- 2-4+ years of AMS / production support experience
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, SLAs, incident & problem management
- Experience with ServiceNow / Remedy / JIRA
Preferred Skills (Zensar Focus)
- Exposure to S/4HANA Finance support
- Experience handling audit, compliance, and SOXrelated issues
- Clientfacing coordination & governance exposure
- SAP FI or CO certification (good to have)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Confident client & stakeholder communication
- Ability to work under pressure in AMS environments
- Excellent documentation and reporting discipline
